The Slime Tech Lab (STL) is a mobile laboratory and living system that explores new futures through science, technology and storytelling. Created by Ashley Lewis and Ayodamola Okunseinde, the STL is an art piece in itself - in roaming around New York it experiences feelings akin to the diaspora as it navigates to unpack its own narrative. As a beacon for futuristic exploration, it unfolds to teach spectators of the marvel of slime mold, revealing how this primordial organism can inform us about problem solving, equity and social cooperation.
Iyapo Repository

Iyapo Repository emerged from the collaborative initiative of Ayodamola Tanimowo Okunseinde and Salome Asega during their residency at Eyebeam and The Laundromat Project. It draws its name from Lilith Iyapo, a character in Octavia Butler's Xenogenesis series known for her ability to navigate two distinct and intricate worlds. This repository serves as a dynamic archive of both digital and tangible artifacts that celebrate and envision the future for individuals of African descent. It evolves with contributions from participatory workshops where attendees conceptualize and prototype envisaged artifacts across various fields such as cuisine, music, politics, and fashion. Selected ideas are then fully realized by the repository team, ensuring the technological integrity and fidelity to the original concepts.

sacra collective is a performance duo by T Braun and Ayodamola Okunseinde that explores the manifestation of “the sacred” in private and public spaces.
We investigate intimate aspects of the human experience such as taste, touch, fear, and desire through techno-shamanistic rituals that facilitate transformation within participants. Our intent is to challenge notions of self in a socio-political context, problematizing ideas of belonging and questioning belief systems.
Our rituals typically involve a group of participants who witness transformation within one another via rites akin to initiation, communion, and confession. Each performance is designed to create a micro-community that fosters dialogue between participants. Themes emerge surrounding pain, loss, and love, and often evolve into conversations about pressing social issues, injustices, and shared experiences.

Dissident Display was an alternative art gallery and multimedia studio co-founded in 2005 by Adrian Loving, Eric Brewer, and Ayodamola Okunseinde. Located on H Street NE in the Atlas District of Washington, D.C., the space showcased contemporary, experimental art, fashion, and multimedia projects. Combined contemporary art, performance, experimental design, and dandyism/fashion-as-art.Projects: Hosted local artists, multimedia works, and an online video publication named Scene.
